Menjangan is an island located in the Bali Barat National Park. The island has beautiful white sand beaches. There are up to 8 different dive spots, accessible by local boats that leave from the port of Pemuteran. Around the island you will find beautiful overgrown steep walls, coral gardens and small underwater caves. The quantity and diversity of soft and hard corals make this location unique.
Pemuteran is best known by the Bio-Rock project, where the reefs whom are damaged by El Niño recover. At various metal structures they put low power to accelerate growth. Meanwhile, these structures become true reefs that house many interesting sea creature. With a jukung we have the possibility to go to the outer reefs .
